The past two weekends have been packed with wins, ribbons, and big milestones for #TeamMLE!

The first weekend of August, Dani Sussman of Aspire Eventing shined at the Bayou Gulch Horse Trials—winning Open Beginner Novice on Tate Serletti’s Igotsunshine and taking 2nd in Open Preliminary with Watervalley Royal Guy (owned by Dani and Stacy Hougland).

This past weekend, Jaclyn Burke of Hablyn Hills Equestrian piloted her own Adara to a second place finish in Open Training at Fair Hill International Horse Trials.

Meanwhile, after a short break, our #MLEhunters and #MLEjumpers came back in full force at the Lexington National Horse Show. Brett Shear-Heyman of Penny Leigh LLC brought home a long list of top ribbons, including a 7th in the 3′ Green Hunter Incentive with Sophie Deegan’s SF Barcaggio, and a 3rd in the 3’3″ Green Hunter Incentive with Katie Chan’s Fan Favorite. Brett also took the win in the 1.30m II2d aboard her own Merlino PL.

Ashley Worthington of Rolling Acres Show Stables dominated the USHJA 3’6″/3’9″ Green Hunter Incentive with Mila Lieberman’s Iggy Pop—winning the class and collecting multiple blue ribbons throughout the week. She also guided Deal Me In to top finishes in the 3′ Green Hunter Incentive and rode an impressive 11 horses during the show! Ashley’s other standout wins included two blues in the Non Pro/Pro Hunter 3′ with Rebecca Harris’s Time After Time, as well as victories in the same division with Pec LLC’s Foxen and Angelina Principe’s Unbelievably Blue.

Mary Lisa Leffler, also of Rolling Acres Show Stables, claimed 2nd in the USHJA Green Hunter 3’/3’3″ with Mila Leiberman’s Koraline, and a win in the 3’3″ Performance Hunters with Jennifer Mehalko’s Lestienne GPH. She also won the $500 Open Jumper 1.20m, the 1.30m with her own Gentleman Jack, and capped off the week by winning the $5,000 Open Jumper Stake with Zaza Z—earning the title of Leading Jumper Rider.

And finally, a huge congratulations to #MLEintern Megan, who earned her USPC A rating this past weekend at the Deep Run Hunt Club—a major accomplishment in the Pony Club world!
