A soggy but successful weekend for #TeamMLE with riders out across Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
At the Virginia Horse Center Eventing Horse Trials, Kim Severson of Severson Eventing won the CCI3*-S with Bill and Ros Johnson’s Cooley Corraghy Diamond. Martin Douzant of The Frame Sport Horses finished 3rd in the CCI2*-S with Justified, owned by Erin Durst and Marsha Spencer. And Jaclyn Burke of Hablyn Hills Equestrian rode to a 4th place finish in the Open Novice with her own Adara.
#MLEinterns Nicola and Megan were both out at the Virginia Horse Center as well. Megan rode her own Parkside Charm to a top ten finish in the Training Horse division, while Nicola finished 4th in the Senior Novice Rider with What The Devil, owned by Shannon and Caitlin O’Roark.
At the Dover Saddlery Highland Starter Trial, Allie Sowden of Glory Days Farm finished 4th in the Open Modified with her own Two Today and rode to a top ten finish in the Open Novice with her own For Arts Sake.
At the historic Devon Horse Show and County Fair, Ashley Worthington of Rolling Acres Show Stables brought home strong ribbons in the $2,000 Green Hunter flat and the $3,000 Green Handy Hunter with Mila Lieberman’s Honestly.
