Just because it was a quiet weekend at home doesn’t mean #TeamMLE wasn’t out competing.
At the WEC Ocala Winter Spectacular X, Brett Shear-Heyman of Penny Leigh LLC brought home a top ten placing in the $15,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby 3′ with Kate Chan’s Fan Favorite. Also in Ocala at the Ocala Winter Finals, Ashley Worthington of Rolling Acres Show Stables finished 3rd in the $1,500 1.40m Jumpers with her own Diadora and collected multiple blue ribbons in the $250 Performance Hunter 3’3″ with MTM Mochi, owned by Amelia Margison, and in the USHJA 2′ Hunter with her own Blue Sapphire.
At Southern Pines Horse Trials in North Carolina, Allie Sowden of Glory Days Farm finished 3rd in Open Novice on her own Two Today.
Strong rides and solid results heading into the next stretch of the season.
