Joe DeSantis of The Frame Sport Horses took three horses to the Upperville Jump4Fun Schooling Show and delivered consistent performances across the board. He picked up blue ribbons in the .70m/.75m Jumpers with Priscilla Barczyszyn’s Uliana, the .90m/.95m Jumpers with Valerie Lee’s Quinn de Revel, and the 1.0m/1.05m Jumpers with Valerie Lee’s Balou de L’Ange. Solosi Equestrian also made the trip to Upperville with four horses and came home with some top honors. Sale horse Macaroni earned a win in the .70m/.75m Jumpers, and Madison’s own Tomano TF brought home a blue in the .90m/.95m Jumpers.
Further north, Katie Wherley Equestrian had a strong outing at the MCTA Horse Trials at Shawan Downs, finishing 5th in the Open Preliminary with her longtime partner Grateful Heart.
And very far west Dani Sussman of Aspire Eventing won the Open Preliminary at The Event at Archer with her new mount Watervalley Royal Guy owned by Stacy Hougland.
Even on quieter weekends, #TeamMLE keeps showing up and putting in the work. Well done to all!
