While everyone’s doing their best to stay cool, we’re looking back at #teamMLE’s riders show results from this past weekend and the previous!

This past week, Rolling Acres Farm and Penny Leigh swept the competition at Showday National in Culpeper, VA! Ashley Worthington of Rolling Acres rode several horses throughout the week, bringing home top honors with all of her rides! Ashley also placed 2nd in the $500 1.20m jumper on Carramar C, owned by Annabella Wyman, and placed 3rd in the $5,000 Allianz Private Client 1.35m Open Prix with her own Diadora. Mary Lisa Leffler of Rolling Acres also had a winning weekend! Mary Lisa rode to a 1st place finish in the $500 1.20m Jumper, 1st in the $500 1.20m/1.30m jumper, and 1st in the $5,000 STX Open Speed all on her own Gentleman Jack. Then on Oopsala, owned by Rolling Acres Show Stable, Mary Lisa placed 2nd in the $5,000 1.35m Allianz Private Client Open Prix, and 3rd in the $24,500 1.40m FarmVet Open Prix. Meanwhile, Brett Shear-Heyman of Penny Leigh rode Merlino PL in the $5,000 Allianz Private Client 1.35m Open Prix and came home with a 4th! Pretty impressive that #TeamMLE riders made up 3 out of 5 of the top placings for that class!

Also in Virginia, The Frame Sport Horses took several young horses to the Spy Coast Young Horse Show Series. In the Yearlings class, Frame Cartagena, one of The Frame’s 2025 homebreds, placed 1st. Czaracha, owned by Cindy Spooner, came in 2nd in the same class. Meanwhile, Martin Douzant rode Sarah Pojankowkski’s Theodosius to victory in the 3-Year-Old Flat Under Saddle class. Joe DeSantis put in some lovely work with Donna Belcher’s R-Donato CH to bring home a 2nd place in the 3-Year-Old Flat Under Saddle. In addition, Assistant Barn Manager and Rider Alese Rinker rode Jocelyn Arel’s Valko van de Ceia to a 4th place finish in the 5-Year-Old Jumping class.

Then last weekend, at the Maryland International and Horse Trials in Adamstown, MD, Kim Severson of Kim Severson Eventing placed in the top ten in the CCI4*-S on Cooley Corraghy Diamond, owned by Bill and Ron Johnson. Brittany Hebets of Hebets Miller Eventing took home a top 15 finish in the Open Training on Clara Abramcheck’s NPS Milan. Meanwhile, over at Full Moon Farm, Jaclyn Burke of Hablyn Hills Equestrian rode her own Adara and brought home a blue ribbon in the Training/Novice division for their efforts!

Congratulations to all of our riders for great results and fantastic rides!!
