It’s that exciting time of year again—show season is back in full swing!
Down in Florida, our #MLEhunters continued to shine bright. Marylisa Leffler of Rolling Acres Show Stables showcased her talent at HITS Ocala Championship in Ocala, Florida, with an impressive lineup of four horses. Bringing home a slew of championships and top finishes, Leffler secured the Championship with Chime in the 3’9″ High Performance/Green Hunter division, as well as with Gentleman Jack in the 1.20m Jumpers. Adding to her success, she also clinched the Championship in the 3′ Green Hunter and 1st place in the $1,000 USHJA 3′ Green Hunter Incentive with Koraline, owned by Sally Cox. Not to be outdone, she claimed another 1st place in the $2,500 HITS Open Welcome with Zaza Z, owned by RAF.
Meanwhile, our #MLEeventers had a strong showing closer to home at the MDHT Highland Series Horse Trials in Adamstown, MD. Dan Clasing of Clasing Equestrian delivered outstanding performances throughout the weekend, securing 1st place in Novice-B with Barbados OS, 1st place in Training-A with Beryl, and a 3rd place in Novice-A with Northern Attitude. Martin Douzant of The Frame Sport Horses earned a well-deserved 2nd place with Galactic Frame Z, while Kelley Williams of A Bit Better Farm emerged victorious, winning the Starter Combined Test with Tuesday, owned by Mary Kate Murphy.
