Area II Championship & Capital Challenege

What a weekend it was for #TeamMLE with three of our fantastic staff members out at horse shows!

MLE President, Margaret, and her horse Runsonsilts took to the dressage arena at a schooling show to work on their moves. Our Sponsorship Coordinator, Cheryl, also hit the same show, partnering with her horse Rio to practice their Third Level musical freestyle routine. Their hard work paid off with a dazzling score of 76.650%! Bravo, Cheryl! Melissa, our Client Coordinator, donned multiple hats as she played groom, horse holder, and videographer for her daughter, Megan, who competed in the Area II Championships.

Our #TeamMLE riders were out in full force at The Maryland Horse Trials II & Area II Championships! Congratulations to Martin Douzant of The Frame Sport Horses for his win in the Area II Open Novice Championships on sale horse Johnny Walker, Dan Clasing of Clasing Equestrian and Mr Max on their 3rd in Open Modified, and to Erin Murphy of Morningside Eventing with Moatrea Cooley on the Con, owned by Janet Gerri, on their 2nd in Open Modified. Special mention to Ron Abrams of Abrams Travel and The Godfather who boldly competed in their second recognized Horse Trial!

Then out at the prestigious Capital Challenge Horse Show our #TeamMLE riders showcased their young horses with flair! Congratulations to Mary Lisa Leffler of Rolling Acres Show Stables on her top placings with Chime owned by Dorli Burke in the 3’6″ Green Hunters and Green Confirmation Hunters. Congratulations to Brett Shear-Heyman of Penny Leigh LLC on her top placings with sale horse Merlino PL in the 3’3″ Green Hunters. And congratulations to Ashley Worthington of Rolling Acres Show Stables on her top placings on Lestienne GPH owned by Jennifer Mehalko in the 3′ Green Hunters.
