What a wild weekend for #TeamMLE! While our #MLEhunters took a breather from the show ring to make their way back home from Florida and gear up for the summer season, our #MLEeventers were out in full force!
Over at the Bouckaert Equestrian Horse Trials in Fairburn, GA, Dani Sussman of Aspire Eventing snagged a coveted blue ribbon in the Open Preliminary division aboard RR Simple, owned by the RR Simple Syndicate.
Meanwhile, closer to home, we had an impressive turnout of 10 clients competing at the Morven Park Spring Horse Trials in Leesburg, VA, with a whopping 27 horses in the mix!
Here are some of the standout performances: Matt Brown of East West Training clinched 4th place in Open Training-B, while Dan Clasing of Clasing Equestrian secured 3rd place in Open Training with Beryl, and 4th place in Open Novice-A aboard KHH Lanesborough. Suze Cornue of Destination Eventing galloped to 3rd place in Open Novice on Korbin, and Martin Douzant of The Frame Sport Horses emerged victorious in Open Training with sale horse Johnny Walker P. Brittany Hebets Miller of Hebets Miller Eventing showcased her talent with a 3rd place finish in Open Novice-A aboard Katie Cleveland’s Rough Heart. Erin Murphy of Morningside Eventing put in a stellar performance, capturing 4th place in Open Novice-B with Rae Stone’s Haslemere Jacamo. Courtney Waskiewicz also had a standout weekend, clinching the blue ribbon in Novice Horse with Lisa Smith’s Chancellor and 3rd place in Training Horse with DGE MoMoneyMoProblems.
