#TeamMLE showcased their talents all over the map this past weekend!
In Maryland, at the MDHT Fall Starter Horse Trials, we saw some fantastic performances. Cali Johnson of Morningside Eventing wowed us with a 4th place finish in Beginner Novice-B riding Lost in Boston and secured an impressive 2nd place in Beginner Novice-A with Power Aplenty, owned by Susan Watters. Kaitlin Clasing of Clasing Equestrian was unstoppable, riding Whiskey Chaser to victory in Elementary-D!
Over at Marlborough Horse Trials, Dan Clasing of Clasing Equestrian reigned supreme, clinching the top spot in Open Training with Mr. Max.
It didn’t stop there! All the way to North Carolina, Kim Severson of Kim Severson Eventing showed her mettle, securing 3rd place in Open Training with Cooley Consort and an impressive 5th place in Open Preliminary with Cooley Corraghy Diamond, owned by Ron and Bill Johnson.
Meanwhile, at the Maryland Horse and Pony Show, Mary Lisa Leffler of Rolling Acres Show Stables was a standout, earning Reserve Champion in the Baby Green Hunters with Casamigos.
But the celebrations didn’t stop there! Brett Shear-Heyman of Penny Leigh LLC deserves a standing ovation for her incredible feats. She not only competed in Green Hunters, Baby Green Horses, and Performance Hunters, but she also bagged ribbons in nearly every class! To top it all off, she was recognized with the Professional’s Sportsmanship Award, a testament to her dedication and passion for the sport. We can’t forget to give a huge shoutout to her equally fantastic groom, Sue, who received the well-deserved Best Turned Out award on Friday. 🌟
