#TeamMLE had an incredible, and busy weekend! Most of the team was out at the Virginia Horse Center Fall Event.
The spotlight was certainly on Martin Douzant of The Frame Sport Horses, as all four horses he rode secured top-ten finishes. Notably, The Little Prince, owned by Nancy Quaranto, won the Open Training-A. This was a fun win since The Little Prince is a jumper at heart, who comes up to horse trials to stay well-rounded. While the promising sale horse, Bourbon at Midnight, brought home the blue in Open Novice-A. Watching this talented Maryland-bred OTTB evolve into a standout eventer has been an absolute joy. He is still looking for his new rider!
Congratulations are also in order for Kim Severson of Kim Severson Eventing, who clinched victory in the CCI2*-S riding Cooley Corraghy Diamond, owned by Bill and Ron Johnson.
