What a weekend for #TeamMLE !

Our #MLEhunters and #MLEjumpers were back in action at the Upperville Colt & Horse Show in Upperville, VA. Joe DeSantis of The Frame Sport Horses claimed victory in the 1.0m Schooling Jumpers with sale horse Balou de L’Ange and brought home more blue ribbons with Rice Show Stables’ Gladiator in the 1.0m Jumpers. Martin Douzant, also from The Frame Sport Horses, secured top ribbons with Frame Severine in the Take2 Thoroughbred Jumpers and the Upperville Thoroughbred Classic. Mary Lisa Leffler of Rolling Acres Show Stables finished the weekend as Champion with Chime in the HP Conformation Hunter, and earned top ribbons in the 1.25m Schooling Jumper and $500 1.30m Jumper with Gentleman Jack. Ashley Worthington, also of Rolling Acres Show Stables, brought home nice ribbons in the 1.15m Schooling Jumpers with Trinite Equine Ventures’ Oilily Van Dorperheide and Jack Forgione’s Tallin’s Camaro in the 1.0m Schooling Jumper.

Our #MLEeventers also impressed this past weekend at the Middleburg Horse Trials in The Plains, VA. Daniel Clasing of Clasing Equestrian wrapped up the weekend with a 4th place in Modified-2 and a 4th place with sale horse FVE’s Batman in Open Training-2. Martin Douzant won Open Training-2 with sale horse Johnny Walker P, maintaining the lead through dressage, cross country, and stadium jumping; he and Silvio Pappalardo’s Pure Biz were the TIP Training Champions. Erin Murphy of Morningside Eventing secured 3rd place in Open Training-2 with Janet Ferri’s Monatrea Cooley On The Con and 1st place in Open Beginner Novice-2 with Courtney Colam’s Hemisphere.

Lastly, Allison Springer of Allison Springer Eventing traveled all the way to Quebec, Canada, to compete at the Mars Equestrian Bromont CCI Three Day Event. She put on a very impressive show with Nancy Winter’s No May Moon, winning the CCI4*-L!! She also secured a top ten finish with The Zebedee Group’s Monbeg Zebedee in the CCI3*-L.
