Congratulations to Erin Murphy of Morningside Eventing for securing 3rd place in Novice Horse with Rae Stone’s Haslemere Jacamo. And a big shoutout to #MLEintern Megan Hopkins for an impressive 8th place finish in Jr/YR Preliminary with Altaskin Jack.
Closer to home, our #MLEeventers made their mark at the Seneca Valley Pony Club Fall Horse Trials in Poolesville, MD. Huge congratulations to Courtney Waskiewicz of Defying Gravity Eventing for her victory in the Preliminary Rider division, where she also took home the TIP Preliminary Champion title with Krysta Paradis’s Where’s My Tail. Courtney also claimed 5th place in Preliminary Rider with Elizabeth Callahan’s Hand Rail and 3rd in Novice Horse with Lisa Smith’s Chancellor.
Kudos to Katie Wherley of Katie Wherley Equestrian and Grateful Heart for finishing 5th in Open Intermediate and being named TIP Intermediate Reserve Champion. Suzannah Cornue of Destination Farm also had a fantastic outing, placing 3rd and earning TIP Reserve Champion in Open Training with Cubic Sound.
